If a girl often complains, “why do my feet hurt,” the problem can be related to the heels she wears. The enlargement of tissues around the nerves between your toes can lead to Neuroma. Wearing high heels can compress this tissue and result in a burning pain in the balls of your feet. Switching to comfortable and roomier shoes is the instant solution to this problem, but if it lasts even after that, it’s time to see a doctor.

3. Bunions

Bumps at the joint of the big toes are known as bunions. The reason behind the birth of bunions is still unknown. It can be genetic, or the instability or a shift in bones can give birth to it. Wrong shoes can aggravate them, but they can’t create it. Bad bunions may need surgery to correct it.

4. Hammertoes

Normally, a toe sit straight and nice, but a hammertoe sits almost like a claw. A bend is left in the middle. This contraction in muscles is caused by constant walking. The condition may lead to corns or painful callous. It needs proper treatment; otherwise, it may ulcerate.

5. Rheumatoid Arthritis

This is a chronic inflammatory disorder that can affect your complete foot. The bone starts to deviate and angulate in this disease. It causes swelling and stiffness due to the development of rheumatoid nodules. Extra growth starts to occur at the joints, and the ball of the joint starts coming out. Rheumatoid arthritis runs in the genes. It causes severe pain, and the bottom of the feet hurts continuously. One should run to a rheumatologist immediately upon noticing this disease.

6. Gout

It is another form of arthritis. It can be hereditary, or it can be caused if your kidneys stop functioning properly also if you don’t have a certain enzyme that breaks down the uric acids found in meats and seafood. These undigested urate crystals to the big toes joint – the typical coldest corner of the body and start depositing there. Your toe turns big, red, feel hot and swell. The touch of your toe also becomes super sensitive.

7. Tendinitis

The inflammation or irritation in the tendons of the feet is known as tendinitis. It is the typical wear and tear which can be caused by doing exercises on a hard surface or lacking support. It is the typical dull ache and mild swelling and occurs immediately after the activity. Tendinitis may go if you stop the offending activity, but if it persists for days, you need to see the doctor.

8. A strain

It can be a minor injury caused by overstretching of ligaments or tendons. It takes time to recover from such an injury. Rest, ice and compression are the best treatments for this injury.

Whatever be the cause of the injury, the cure comes with proper treatment, care, and rest. Also, it is really important to avoid the root cause of the problem so that if the disease doesn’t occur again.
